Membership Terms Summary

 

By joining a membership plan, you agree that: This is a priority service membership, not an insurance policy. All work is subject to inspection and acceptance by an engineer. Labour and parts are chargeable unless explicitly included. Services are for domestic residential properties only. Membership applies to one property address only. 

Membership does NOT cover:

 

  • Pre-existing or ongoing faults before joining

  • Damage caused by misuse, neglect, or DIY work

  • Commercial or HMO properties (unless agreed in writing)

  • Drainage outside property boundaries

  • Boiler replacements or full system upgrades

  • Bathroom renovations or large installation works

  • Shower pumps, booster pumps, and macerator units (diagnosis only included

Fair Usage Policy

Memberships are designed for normal domestic use. We reserve the right to review excessive callouts, refuse service in cases of misuse or abuse, recommend alternative chargeable services if usage is abnormal, cancellation.

 

Minimum term: 3 months, cancel anytime after minimum term, no refunds for partial months, annual services must be used while membership is active.

 

Liability: we are not liable for, delays caused by factors outside our control, indirect losses (e.g. water damage, heating loss, business interruption), costs arising from emergency failures or system breakdowns.

Service may be affected by: Severe weather (storms, flooding, snow, ice), high demand periods, traffic or travel disruption, plumber availability or sickness, parts availability, unsafe or inaccessible working conditions, events outside our reasonable control We always aim to attend within stated timeframes, but all response times are based on reasonable effort under normal operating conditions.

Attendance does not guarantee: Immediate resolution, availability of parts on first visit, completion of complex repairs in one appointment.

Working hours are defined as 9am - 5pm, Monday - Friday.

An emergency call-out is defined as a sudden and unforeseen breakdown that results in a complete loss of heating or hot water, or where there is an immediate risk to health, safety, or property damage, such as an active water leak that cannot be contained. Emergency mebershipis provided to restore essential services as quickly as possible and is not intended for routine maintenance, minor faults, performance issues, system adjustments, or planned works. Non-urgent issues such as low pressure, thermostat settings, radiator balancing, or general servicing are not classed as emergencies and will be scheduled as standard appointments or charged separately where applicable. The final decision as to whether a situation is classified as an emergency rests with Telford Boiler and Plumber Services. Emergency call-outs are determined by Telford Boiler and Plumber Services based on the nature of the fault, taking into account safety, urgency, and risk to property.
